On November 2, 2024, the 2024 China Automation Conference opened in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The conference was themed "New Quality Development, Intelligent Future", focusing on the deep integration of automation and artificial intelligence, and discussing the innovative development of new industries and new technologies. - Chinese Academy of Engineering academician and president of the Chinese Association of Automation, Zheng Nanxin, emphasized that the deep integration of artificial intelligence and automation will change the world and drive the advancement of China's automation technology to a higher level.

- The team led by Professor Li Shaoyuan, vice president of Qingdao University of Science and Technology and vice president of the Chinese Association of Automation, presented the latest research results of artificial intelligence technology in the field of flexible manufacturing production scheduling. They achieved intelligent scheduling of production processes and precise control of product quality, significantly improving production efficiency and product qualification rate. 

Intelligent Manufacturing in the Tire Industry:

- Guan Bingzheng, the deputy director of the National Rubber and Tire Engineering Technology Research Center and the chairman and president of Soft Control Co., Ltd., introduced how the tire industry has achieved knowledge parameterization, parameter softwareization, and software platformization by applying artificial intelligence technology, promoting process innovation, material innovation, equipment innovation, and making breakthroughs in giant engineering tires. 

Application of the computing power platform:

- Professor Gao Wen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the director of the Pengcheng Laboratory, introduced the Pengcheng "Cloud Brain II" computing power platform established by the Pengcheng Laboratory, as well as how to utilize large models to build the "Fei Yue Lifeomics Platform", which is applied to assist in health and medical-related fields. 

Science popularization achievements display for teenagers:

- The conference specially set up the "Exhibition of Outstanding Science Popularization Works by Teenagers", showcasing the science popularization achievements of primary and secondary school students, and cultivating reserve forces for the future development of automation and artificial intelligence in China. 

Automation People Spirit Announcement:
