Research and development of the motion control system for high-speed three-dimensional wrapping machines

2025-10-17

Project outcome

1) Multi-material packaging: By cooperating with color mark sensors and integrating electronic cams, various packaging materials can be packaged, such as transparent films and color mark films.

2) The high precision of packaging is achieved by using servo torque control technology in combination with tension sensors to ensure the stability of film tension, thereby guaranteeing the high precision of label cutting and keeping the bag length error within 1mm.

3) The original three-dimensional wrapping machine was an intermittent packaging machine. Due to its mechanical structure, its general packaging speed was about 25 packages per minute. Currently, the actual control capacity of the new three-dimensional wrapping machine has reached as high as 100 packages per minute, which has far exceeded the similar three-dimensional wrapping machines on the market.

Key technologies

1. Intelligent access system: Utilizing OMRON robot positioning algorithms and sensor technology, it ensures the accuracy of sample access.

2. Information-based management: Integrating technologies such as RFID and barcode recognition to achieve full life cycle management of samples.

3. Remote Monitoring: Through Internet of Things (IoT) technology, remote access control and abnormal alarm are achieved.

4. Electrical structure optimization: The use of a low-temperature resistant EtherCat servo system enhances the stability of the equipment in an environment of -80℃.

Project Background

Achieve 7x24-hour continuous operation in a low-temperature environment.

2) Reduce reliance on personnel and the probability of personnel contaminating samples.
